SCADTalks Visual Storytelling
SCADtalks is a quarterly series geared towards senior students to teach them to develop high-quailty professional presentations. It closely follows the format of Tedtalks, where speakers share stories from a range of topics.
This storyboard, titled I’m not a designer was developed for a series of lectures at the Savannah College of Art and Design. The presentation shares personal struggles with self-confidence as a designer and takes a particularly critical look at the pressure to be perfect. The illustrations follow the narrative of several stressful situations by reducing them to essentials. Furthermore, comical elements and a sketchy style provide the whole work with a distinct touch of humour.
This project is a recipient of a
Red Dot Communication Design Award, 2017
'The Red Dot is the award for high design quality.
